Steve’s dad taught him how to hunt and fish at a very early age. His dad was with him when he took his first buck, shot his first game bird, and caught his first fish. Steve’s dad has since passed, but Steve will always carry fond memories of his dad every time he steps in the woods or grabs his fishing pole.

Steve recently retired from a 30+ year long career as an engineer in the aerospace industry and now spends his days (and nights) hunting and fishing for Walleye, Trout, Elk, Deer, Pheasant, Duck, Goose, Turkey, & Dove. Whether it's with a rod & reel, rifle or shotgun, or bow & arrow; Steve pursues it with passion. Family is, and always will be, top priority to Steve. He currently lives in Northern Colorado with his wife, Deb. Between them, they have 5 children, 2 daughters-in-law, 1 soon to be son-in-law and 3 beautiful grandchildren.

Over the last 40 years, Steve has had the good fortune of spending many of his days and nights in the great outdoors in almost every state West of the Mississippi river and Canada. Recently, Steve has focused his time and energy on Walleye tournament fishing. In addition to being a member of the LOWE boat's Pro Staff team, Steve is also sponsored by Cabela's, Mercury Marine, MotorGuide®, Lowrance, Karavan Trialers, Dowco Marine, Aqua-Vu, and EGO nets.

Steve has owned 3 Lowe boats so far and currently competes in tournaments from his 2017 LOWE FS1810 fishing boat at the local, regional, and national levels.  Above all, Steve enjoys sharing his hunting and fishing skills with others (especially kids and veterans). Steve’s primary goal is to inspire others with the courage and confidence to “cast off the bow line” and go create “their next adventure” –
